Our story and mission

Discover the heart behind Mini Motives, our passion for inclusive education, and how we empower every child to thrive through engaging and supportive classes.

Our journey and passion

Mini Motives was created from a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel seen, included, and capable—no matter their starting point. It was founded by an experienced teacher with over 20 years in education, as well as a mum and auntie, whose passion for children’s wellbeing and development grew both professionally and personally.

Through years in classrooms and early years settings, she saw how many children needed more space, more flexibility, and more nurturing approaches to truly thrive—especially those with additional needs. Mini Motives was born to bridge that gap, offering sessions that combine movement, sensory learning, creativity, and emotional development in a way that is joyful, safe, and fully inclusive. At its heart, it’s about those special moments—a child gaining confidence, joining in for the first time, or simply feeling proud of themselves. That’s why Mini Motives exists: to help every child feel that they belong, they are supported, and they can.

What makes us unique

What sets Mini Motives apart is our deeply flexible, child-centred approach. We don’t deliver one fixed format—instead, we adapt every session in real time to meet the needs, abilities, and interests of the children in front of us.

We blend sensory learning, movement, creativity, and wellbeing, with a strong focus on emotional safety and confidence building. Children are never pressured to perform; they’re encouraged to participate in ways that suit them. Our approach is shaped by over 20 years of teaching experience and a strong understanding of early years and SEN needs, alongside a nurturing, relationship-led style. At Mini Motives, it’s not just about activities—it’s about inclusion, joy, and helping every child feel successful and proud. 💖

Our impact and vision

The aim of Mini Motives is to make a meaningful, lasting difference in both children and the schools we work with by supporting the whole child—emotionally, socially, physically, and creatively.

For children, we want to build confidence, happiness, and self-belief, helping them feel safe to express themselves, take part, and succeed in their own way. We also aim to support emotional regulation, communication skills, and physical development, especially through inclusive, sensory-based learning experiences.

For schools and nurseries, the difference is seen in more engaged learners, calmer classrooms, improved wellbeing, and stronger participation—particularly from children who may usually struggle to access group activities. Ultimately, our goal is simple: to create positive experiences where every child feels included, capable, and proud of who they are, while making a real, supportive impact within the setting. 💖
